On 2 November 2026, updated reporting on Central Bank figures showed that Paraguay recorded US$1.151 billion in net foreign direct investment in 2025, the highest result in the historical series. Gross inflows reached US$4.592 billion, while gross outflows totalled US$3.441 billion, with reinvested earnings and capitalisations contributing positively.
